Picture this. You are watching a webinar, which is supposed to lure you in. Except, the speaker is not motivating, the slides are dull and the audience are not able to engage.
So, you sit there, wondering what to have for dinner or whether you remembered to record your favourite TV Show…not listening and not interested in the slightest.

Webinars don’t have to be like this. They can provide incredible scope for promoting your brand globally and save a small fortune, versus hiring a venue. Webinars have received a bad reputation for being tedious but what people forget is this platform needs to be treated slightly differently.
You don’t just have to have a slide and a speaker. There are so many other features you can add onto your webinar that will make it memorable for your audience, as well as interactive. It will stick in their minds and leave them wanting more.
Be bold and reap the rewards
A good example I saw recently was in the fashion industry. While the audience watched a live cat walk, they were able to buy the clothes the models were wearing on the same page as the webinar window. The audience could also view other images and at the same time interact with others watching the live stream.
So forget what you know about stuffy corporate webinars and how you should present one, as this example shows, times have changed and so have webinars. The more creative you can be, the more of an impact you’ll make.
Imagine your next webinar being fully branded, with interactive panels that allow the audience to interact with the speaker and each other. Content instantly available to allow further discussion, post webinar. Live video, with a charismatic speaker and features such as polling engaging the audience.
