Who we are

MeetingZone Limited was established in 2002 by Steve Gandy and Tim Duffy to challenge the poor customer service and the lack of efficiency and transparency of the conferencing and collaboration industry.

We’ve expanded our range of services and have successfully grown every year since. Today, over 6,500 customers worldwide rely on our technology and service. Our focus is mid-market customers – a sector that’s under served in the market – including FTSE 500 companies in the financial, retail, IT, pharmaceutical, business services and legal sectors.

We began by offering a highly automated global platform, initially focused on audio conference calling. These days we offer a range of collaboration and conferencing services that help people connect, communicate and collaborate more productively.

A key factor in our success is our strategic relationship with Cisco in offering their collaboration portfolio – WebEx, Collaboration Meeting Room and Spark.

We also specialise in Microsoft Skype for Business, providing our own cloud service platform, allowing customers to replace their existing phone systems with a much more efficient and cost-effective infrastructure for all their voice communications.

Our technical know-how and responsive customer service teams mean we’re highly regarded for our service excellence in the market. We employ specialist sales people with sector experience, supported by expert deployment and training teams to make sure the customer experience is second to none.

We’re headquartered near Oxford in the United Kingdom, and we have more UK offices in London, Cardiff and Milton Keynes. Outside the UK, you can find MeetingZone offices in the US (Denver CO), Germany (Berlin and Munich) and Sweden (Stockholm and Malmo).

The company is private equity backed by GMT Communications Partners, a leading and long-established private equity firm focusing on technology investments in Europe. The other principal shareholders are the management team, led by co-founder and CEO Steve Gandy, following a management buyout in 2011.
