Tim Duffy

Tim Duffy has over 20 years of experience in the conferencing and communications industry.
In the early 80's he established a business at GEC which became the leading international supplier of video compression equipment for the video conference markets around the globe.
He held various executive positions at GEC including MD of several business units in Telecommunications.
In 1991, Tim joined PictureTel Corporation, a start-up videoconferencing company, as founder of its European operations. PictureTel went on to become the dominant videoconferencing supplier worldwide with its European business alone growing to over $100m.
Before starting MeetingZone, Tim headed up the European operations of VennWorks LLC, a New York based venture capital group. VennWorks focused on identifying, investing and nurturing new technology companies spinning out of large companies and universities.
When asked why he wanted to set up MeetingZone, Tim said, "With my experience in communications and in venture capital, the conferencing market looked ripe for innovation and I concluded that we could really provide customers with better value and service and build a world class company"
Steve Gandy

Steve Gandy is another veteran of the conference call industry, having established BT's conferencing business back in 1993, growing it from start-up to a £100m a year business in 5 years.
His time with BT culminated with responsibility for BT's Advanced Services portfolio, an overlay network for large business customers in the UK providing services such as 0800, 0845, Centrex and virtual private networking.
In 1998 he founded Quip!, the UK's first internet based telephone company. This was a fully automated operation in the competitive low-cost international call market. Quip! thrived and confirmed Steve's style of shaking up established markets by launching new and exciting companies.
When asked why he wanted to launch MeetingZone, he said "I saw a way in which individuals could enjoy a much better and cost-effective conference call service. In my opinion, no-one in the marketplace is offering the level of customer service that we pride ourselves on at MeetingZone."
